Wow, what changes four years can bring! basically:
- Core: My job has steered me away from art and more into project management and business development. Because of this:
- I never have time to draw or make art anymore. Seriously. This includes animating.
- I no longer have a reliable computer to work on anything anymore since my job no longer demands of it. My personal one can't keep up anymore, and these days I would rather spend my money on other things (like saving up for traveling, my own place, etc.)
However, this doesnt mean my life is now dead and dull. Far, FAR from that!! I have been inspired beyond the operations of the creative side. These days I am glued to my phone/iPad, and have been pretty snobby when it comes to UX. Websites just don't cut it anymore because the user journey these days are different. And better. It has now become my life mission to create something for the Experience Industry-- to fuse creative and business together to create something that is sustainable for both businesses and consumers alike. I am LOVING this because it's fast paced, practical (in a sense), and philosophical (the €€ is quite nice too).
This is also why I havent logged on to DA anymore since they didnt have a dedicated app for it yet but FINALLY they do! Which means I can check up on everyone and be visually inspired again. I may not be able to create things anymore, but hopefully i can find new ways for that
